A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to attend an event for cruelty-free beauty bloggers that took place at the Gorilla Perfumes shop in London. It was lovely meeting all the bloggers and the Gorilla Perfumes team. They prepared a fun afternoon for us and we got a chance to smell different perfumes. The vast majority of them were vegan, while the rest were vegetarian, however, still cruelty-free.
Gorilla Perfumes shop is based in Islington (central London) and it is the world's first shop dedicated solely to Lush Cosmetics Gorilla Perfumes. We had the opportunity to listen to live music while smelling different scents and enjoying bubbly drinks.
The group of bloggers received a goodie bag, which included some of the vegan perfumes, the Gorilla Perfumes cotton shopping bag and the book, which talks about the daring duo, Agnes and Simon. The book is based on a true story and it is called On the Trail of Sandalwood Smugglers. Why sandalwood? It is one of the ingredients that can be found in Gorilla Perfumes. Knowing that Lush and Gorilla Perfumes support fair trade and ethical business practices is a heartwarming and definitely something that more companies should aim to do.
Have you tried these perfumes before? Your thoughts? :)
